WAM Group, an Italian machinery producer and the market leader in China in producing screw conveyor and venting filter systems, set up their second, large production facility in Wuxi, China.
Having completed Phase 1 with a total area of 24.000 mē GFA in October 2008, WAM is currently planning to enlarge the facility by another 40.000 mē GFA. While the design period, including approval, lasted 6 months, the construction period took only 5 months.
This fast-track construction process was requested by the client in order to start production earlier than previously scheduled. Bencer provided WAM with comprehensive procurement and construction management services.
