Sitech Dongchang a joint venture between the German Sitech Sitztechnik GmbH, a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, and the Chinese Dongchang Group, built their first new production facility in Shanghai Baoshan.
The total size of this project was 25.000 mē GFA and included production and office facilities. The design period including approvals lasted 5 month and the construction period 10 month.
The project was characterized by heavy load requirements on floor and foundation which required special engineering solutions, Bencer provided. Besides these special consulting services, Bencer provided the entire project management service.
