During Shanghai World Expo 2010, the German Center Shanghai provides space to build several energy efficient building showcases for various German suppliers in this field. Bencer will be responsible to manage the "German Energy Center & College". Leading German experts specialized in Green Building construction will be involved in the design of this showcase.

The building will meet the highest energy standards and will also meet the highest quality standards regarding building materials and workmanship. Renewable energies such as geothermal energy and solar energy will be used to lower the energy consumption of the building. High-end façade and insulation materials will ensure the optimal building insulation and therefore reduce energy lost.

The GFA will be 500 m². The design has started in August 2009; completion construction will be April 2010. Bencer provides the project management services and engineering consultancy.
